If you’re experiencing symptoms of mono, such as extreme fatigue, sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and body aches, a rapid mono antibody test can help confirm the diagnosis.
This test detects antibodies produced by the body in response to the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), which is the primary cause of mono.
Result Time: 1 Hour

EBV spreads from person to person through saliva and other bodily fluids. You can get it through kissing, but also by sharing a glass or food utensils with someone who has mono.
Rapid mono tests produce the most accurate results after the first week of symtpom onset. If you test negative within the first week of symptoms, but they persist, consider testing again.
If your Rapid Mono Antibody Test comes back positive, a Rume Health provider will reach out to you to create a treatment plan.
These treatment plans are covered by the test’s price and do not involve any additional charges on your part! If you’re prescribed a medication, it will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.
