If you receive a check in the mail from your insurance company, call your insurance company to understand who the payment belongs to.

For services rendered during the COVID-19 public health emergency, Rume Health billed your insurance company directly to get reimbursed for payment.

Some insurance companies will reimburse Rume for the full cost of service. Others will pay an adjusted rate (i.e., a rate less than the original price). For those companies that pay an adjusted reimbursement rate, some will send that partial reimbursement to you, the patient.

If after talking to your carrier you determine that the check is meant to cover the cost of services rendered during the pandemic, contact us immediately.
